IEEE PowerTech 2025

At the end of June 2025, the biennial IEEE PowerTech Conference took place in Kiel, Germany. Hosted by Kiel University, the five-day event offered a rich program of presentations, poster sessions, and panel discussions. Key topics included grid forming, co-simulation, and real-time applications, which were covered in numerous presentations, poster and panel sessions.

As a Silver Sponsor, DIgSILENT was represented on site by Karla Mendez and Robert Pardatscher, who welcomed many interested visitors at our booth. They were joined by Marcela Martinez and Johannes Ruess, who participated in the technical sessions and engaged in numerous in-depth discussions with fellow attendees, highlighting the wide range of applications for PowerFactory.

The conference provided an excellent platform for connecting with our broad user base in the academic sector and for introducing the people behind the PowerFactory software.
