"The selected licence does not allow the execution of command XX"

Answer

This means, that although a valid licence is used, the requested module is not available for this user. You can check which modules are included in your licence via Menu->Help->About PowerFactory.

If the licence is not listed but you are sure it is in the licence agreement, it might be that you have a licence with a restricted number of functions (i.e. you have 4 Base Package licences, but only 2 Optimal Power Flow licences). In this case you have to specify which licences are available for every user. This is done by the Administrator, see section "Creating and Managing User Accounts" of the User Manual for more information.

If you don't have the licence module and would like to get an offer for it, contact our sales department at mail@digsilent.de
