Can I migrate a “PF4E” (PowerFactory for Education) licence to PowerFactory 2016?

Answer

Yes, it is possible with the remark that the new PowerFactory 2016 PF4E licence is only available as softkey. Old PF4E licences can be kept and if the university wishes to get PowerFactory 2016, it must request a new licence as soft-key (free of charge in this case). The person responsible of the PowerFactory licence from the university must write an email to mail@digsilent.de and mention to which old hardlock (the 7 letter number is printed on the hardlock itself) will the new softkey be related to. The old hardlock can be kept by the university, as it does not need to be returned.
