How can I control the active power of a load or generator?
User-defined controls for Load Flow Calculations as well as Quasi-Dynamic Simulations can be implemented by using QDSL (Quasi-Dynamic Simulation Language) models.
In the attached project, two different examples are shown to implement a simple control for the active power:
- In study case “Set Power – Event”, the QDSL model “Load Event – Event” is implemented. Load Events are created to increase the active power of the load for each simulated time step in the Quasi-Dynamic Simulation by 1%.
- In study case “Set Power – Signal”, the QDSL models “Load Event – Signal” and “Pvsys Event – Signal” are implemented. The available signals for the load and generator are used to increase the active power set point for each simulated time step in the Quasi-Dynamic Simulation by 1%.
